Born in Singapore, Reiko began dancing at the age of 7. She attended the School Of The Arts Singapore, during her time there she was selected to perform a work choreographed by Kerry Nicholls at the Commonwealth Youth Dance festival in Glasgow. After her training in Singapore she was accepted into Central School of Ballet in London to pursue her Bachelors (Hons) degree in Professional Dance and Performance. During her final year, Reiko toured extensively across theatres in the UK with Ballet Central, performing leading roles in Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère, pas de trios in The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Indigo Children by Liam Scarlett. She also had the opportunity to work closely with choreographers such as Matthew Bourne, Akram Khan, Christopher Bruce and Michael Pink on pieces which includes Highland Fling, Mya and Dracula.

Reiko joined Singapore Dance Theatre in January 2018 and was promoted to Apprentice in June 2019. Besides performing in Timothy Harbour’s 30th anniversary ballet Linea Adora, her repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Giselle, Coppélia, Sleeping Beauty, Swan LakeDon Quixote and Romeo and Juliet (2020).
